Thematic Primers
Structural analysis, not hot takes. Data-backed deep dives into the mechanics driving markets.
The Philosophy (What is a Primer?)
Beyond the Headlines
The financial news cycle is noisy. My Thematic Primers are designed to step back and analyze the structural shifts that unfold over months and years, not days.
Each primer is built on a “Macro-to-Micro” framework:
Identify the Regime: What are the undeniable macro forces (Fiscal Policy, Inflation, Demographics)?
Locate the Constraint: Where is the bottleneck? (e.g., Grid Capacity, Supply Chains).
Quantify the Opportunity: Using proprietary tracking and systematic analysis to find the assets most sensitive to these shifts.
Research Focus Areas
01. Macro Mechanics
We are entering a new economic regime. My macro research focuses on the interplay between Fiscal Policy (Government Debt) and Monetary Reality. I track the flow of liquidity, sovereign debt burdens, and inflation expectations to understand the “water” the market swims in.
Key Focus: Fiscal Dominance, Yield Curve Dynamics, Capital Flows.
02. Structural Equities (The Supply Chain)
I don’t just look at stock tickers; I look at value chains. Whether it is the re-industrialization of the West or the physical constraints of AI infrastructure, I focus on “Picks and Shovels” themes where capital expenditure is non-discretionary and predictable.
Key Focus: Industrial CapEx, Infrastructure Bottlenecks, Hardware Verticals.
03. The Lab (Systematic Tracking)
Quantitative experiments in real-time.
This publication is also a documentation of my journey into quantitative finance. Here, I apply statistical modeling, backtesting, and machine learning concepts to challenge narratives with hard data.
Key Focus: Mean Reversion, Correlation Analysis, Factor Models.
